I found music a very feminine space and embracing this kind of femininity has been a really interesting challenge for me. It's really hard to say, "Okay, I can be feminine and soft as well as strong and take care of myself without reducing myself." I've enjoyed that quite a bit, I've really enjoyed dressing in heels and dresses each day, and having gorgeous curls, and the softest fabrics. There was pressure because I'm a younger actor than the rest of the actors on the set of Fantastic Beasts. But during the auditions, I felt that there was this huge weight in front of my. It was either I'd crumble beneath the weight of it and fall since I was so desperate to do it. Or I could step up and allow it to force me to move into the future. I could spend the whole day exploring museums, walking cafes, parks and the like and just observing individuals. London is a city in which everyone is around you. In LA it can be solitary, but you're right there right in the middle of all that. I am a fan of watching the people around me. When you work in the industry of music you're constantly in the company of people. It's like you are engaged with people all day long. It's an amazing, surreal dream. I've read through every book in the trilogy. It was nice having the opportunity to study the books on tour. You're constantly changing cities and that can make it hard to concentrate. To be able to disappear into such a tense and vivid world in your bunk is really wonderful.
